Combine that with a lifelong love for animals , and this career path was a given. Amanda's also got the gift of gab! (Don't worry, she knows when to listen as well). What really makes her day is knowing she's making a difference for both pets AND their people. A woman who wears many hats, she has tried just about every role in her impressive 12-year journey through veterinary medicine. From front desk to surgery tech, she's explored it all, gaining a 360-degree view of how clinics operate. She even spent a year diving deep into the fascinating world of animal genetics – talk about a DNA detective! What really makes Amanda's tail wag? Helping veterinary clinics thrive! Now at iVET360, she uses her incredible knowledge and knack for connecting with people to support clinics in navigating today's challenges.
Life, Laughter, And Leashes
When she's not busy being a veterinary industry champion, Amanda lives life with the same enthusiasm she brings to work—which is to say, at full speed! Her weekends follow two distinct patterns: She’s either curled up with a good book (her personal library boasts over 200 titles – a bookworm's paradise!) or out exploring the world, one adventure at a time. Swing dancing? Yep. Cheering on her fav 49ers?Check. Rooting on local rugby teams? You betcha.Lakeside lounging? Amanda's always up for it!
Amanda is known to bring her infectious energy to everything she does. Her creative spirit knows no bounds, with a crafting resume that would impress even the most industrious beaver. She's mastered everything from acrylic painting to crochet and fiber arts. Now, she has ventured into the world of sewing. Amanda approaches each new skill with determination and enthusiasm. She's basically the human embodiment of DIY!
Amanda's Furry Friends
Currently, Amanda’s furry family consists of two feline friends. First up is Frankie, the tortie princess who captured Amanda's heart at the humane society. Reserved with others, Frankie saves all her affection for Amanda, transforming into the world's clingiest of shadows. Then there's Petey, the charismatic orange cat. He turned a surrender at Amanda's former clinic into his ticket to a forever home! A true social butterfly, Petey has never encountered a snack he didn't like or a human he couldn't charm. His persuasive powers when it comes to treats are legendary, and his social calendar is usually fuller than his human's. These step-siblings, separated by just four months in age, have perfected the art of what Amanda calls 'tolerant coexistence.' Whether working closely with vet practices, diving into her latest craft project, or mediating peace talks between Frankie and Petey, Amanda brings an infectious energy and genuine passion to everything she does.
