Chris
Paws, Purrs & Programming
Chris is a skilled data engineer who discovered his calling early - while most kids were playing video games (okay, maybe he was doing a bit of that), he was building computers in middle school and running his own PC-building business before he could drive. Talk about an overachiever! Armed with a Computer Science degree and a genuine passion for helping animals, Chris now uses his tech wizardry to enhance client care and results at iVET360. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise and compassion to his role, transforming complex data into actionable insights that help practices thrive. Chris has the ability to see the stories behind the numbers and understand how each data point can translate into better care for our furry friends. He tackles each challenge with meticulous attention to detail, whether he's optimizing databases, streamlining workflows, or developing new analytical tools. His early entrepreneurial spirit hasn't faded; instead, it's evolved into an innovative approach to problem-solving that benefits both our team and our clients.
Tall Tales, Taste, & Trails
At 6'6, Chris might tower over most, but this gentle giant is known for his big heart and kind spirit. When he's not working his data magic, you'll find him conquering Jacksonville's nature trails or experimenting in his kitchen (his homemade bread and legendary pot roast recipe have their own fan club). When it comes to entertainment, Chris's tastes are as multifaceted as his talents. He's drawn to narratives that challenge the status quo - you might catch him dissecting his fav scenes from Breaking Bad or vibing to Eminem.
Despite his impressive height and technical expertise, Chris remains remarkably down-to-earth and approachable. His closest friends describe him as spontaneous, reliable, and always up for an adventure. His talent for breaking down technical concepts with the same clarity he brings to breaking down a recipe makes him a great go-to person for turning complicated challenges into comprehensible solutions.
Chris's Furry Family
Some people are simply born into animal advocacy - Chris literally was! With a mom who runs a kitten rescue, caring for animals is practically in his DNA, and those early experiences shaped his understanding of the vital role technology can play in improving animal welfare. Today, he shares his home with a rescued Russian Blue cat, who graciously allows Chris to occupy what is clearly the cat's domain. This sophisticated feline companion has become both his most demanding food critic and his most loyal debugging partner, often supervising his work from a strategic position on his desk. Growing up in an environment where animal rescue was a daily reality gave Chris a unique perspective on the challenges facing veterinary practices and rescue organizations. This firsthand experience with animal rescue, combined with his data expertise, makes Chris a perfect fit for our team.
