Meet Tamisha, our Director of HR & Team Support here at iVET360! Tamisha has a lifelong passion for animals and over 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry. After earning a degree in Zoology from Oregon State University, she has done everything from working in shelters to managing a 9-doctor practice. With years of experience in the industry, she enjoys sharing her knowledge to improve practices. Her favorite part of the day is engaging with clients, discussing their challenges, and creating solutions together. Tamisha enjoys helping others succeed and is passionate about assisting veterinary teams in performing at their best.
Main Energy Character
Tamisha is a fan of visually stunning TV shows and movies, with favorites such as The Crown and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. However, her true obsession lies with the films of Wes Anderson, and she loves to channel that cinematic vibe by immersing herself in the music featured in his films, which is predominantly from the 60s and early 70s.
Tamisha is also quite the avid traveler, having visited 21 countries so far (not including the US) but has not yet ventured south of the Equator. She grew up overseas and lived in 5 countries before graduating High School. When she's not jet-setting, Tamisha can be found supporting her daughter at sports games or riding on horseback. She also enjoys the local flavors from breweries and wineries, but what truly sets Tamisha apart is her love for bowling and music. She's an active member of a bowling team and has been a regular attendee of the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival for over a decade.
Tamisha’s Furry Family
Tamisha is the proud owner of a Portuguese Water Dog named Rowdy. She adopted him during the pandemic after the passing of her beloved 15-year-old Goldendoodle, Buckley. At just 11 months old, Rowdy was previously owned by a man in California who had to give him up due to health issues. Due to the border being closed during the pandemic, Rowdy was unable to be sent back to the breeder in Canada, and Tamisha jumped at the opportunity to adopt him. Tamisha was more than happy to give Rowdy a loving and happy home.
Fun Fact: Rowdy's previous owner was none other than the father of Scott Peterson. The man who was infamously convicted of killing his pregnant wife, Laci and disposing of her body in the bay. YOWZA!
