The What

This easy, simple feature allows your clients to alert their friends that they’re at your practice. In doing so, they also supply your practice location, a link to your Facebook page, business rating, and even a clickable map. If they view it on mobile, driving directions are easily accessible as well.

Facebook also enhances check-ins by highlighting photos and reviews of other friends who have been to your practice and gives you the opportunity to promote an offer as well.

The Why

At first, a check-in may not seem like much—it’s just a client posting that they are currently at your practice. But this free, quick post gives you a lot of bang for no bucks! Consider that anyone who checks in at your practice is assuming this is information their friends and acquaintances want to know, and it comes with vital info about your hospital. In effect, it is a soft-sell, person-to-person recommendation, which as anyone can tell you is the best kind of advertising there is.

It’s estimated that typically about 200 friends of the person checking in will see this type of post. Consistently promoting check-ins for your practice is a great way to increase likes and potential followers and show them vital information about you at a glance.
