The What

Facebook Offers are essentially posts that feature a special discount or promotion. Offers can be created from the sharing tool on your Facebook page, and when it appears on people’s newsfeeds, there’s a “Get Offer” button that encourages those seeing it to claim it. Offers can be targeted to a specific audience, and the cost tailored to your budget.

The Why

Facebook Offers seems to be a slightly more popular platform for our industry than GMB Offers, which may be more about the ease of use and pervasiveness of Facebook. What’s good about hopping on board the Offers train now is that the field is uncrowded, so your message won’t be buried by competition.

The How

Placing a Facebook Offer is almost as simple as regular posting. Go to the “Create Post” window and select “Offer”. The Facebook tool for creating an offer will appear on your left. You can then choose the type of offer, write a headline, add an image, set an expiration date, and specify your audience and budget. Monitor the effectiveness of your offer on the Page Insights tab.
