Built in 1908 and located in Old Town, the seven-story structure has deep roots in the city of Portland, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which highlights locales that are worthy of preservation. Efficiency upgrades have been implemented which will see a 38 percent reduction in energy use and a 44 percent reduction in water use.
