iVET360’s free 2023 Veterinary Marketing Benchmark Report focuses on websites, SEO, and why Google matters even more
For the seventh year in a row, iVET360 has created and published the Veterinary Marketing Benchmark Report (VMBR). This report is the most extensive study of the digital marketing practices of veterinary hospitals in North America and is now available for all veterinary practices to download for free.
The 2023 VMBR surveyed 27,000+ veterinary hospitals across all 50 states and 10 provinces—a dramatic increase over last year’s survey of 22,127 facilities. This year, the bulk of the data focused on SEO and the increasing dominance of Google in the digital sphere. A few findings of this broad and in-depth survey include:
- 9.6% of veterinary hospitals still don’t have a website; an increase from last year
- 75% of corporate websites are built on in-house templates
- Google’s Analytics 4 and Business Profiles have an increasingly strong grip on SEO and website visibility
- A state-by-state analysis of Google reviews and ratings for corporate vs. independent practices—and why it matters
“The average independent veterinary business owner or practice manager is simply doing too many things with insufficient time and budget dollars,” says iVET360’s Chief Revenue Officer Justin Vandeberghe. “Independent practices can never hope to outspend the corporate ones, but they can outsmart them—and this report provides both actionable strategies based on hard data, and how iVET360 is here to help implement them.”
iVET360 has published this report annually since 2017 and it remains a bias-free, in-depth look at digital marketing best practices. In addition to the complimentary report download, iVET360 offers a free custom analysis of your hospital—so that you can see how your practice’s marketing efforts measure up to what’s happening in the industry.
