Portland, OR—For the fourth consecutive year, iVET360 has created and published the largest, most comprehensive study of the digital marketing practices of veterinary hospitals around the country and made it available to download for free.
The 2020 Veterinary Marketing Benchmark Report (VMBR) surveyed 1000 accredited veterinary hospitals in all 50 states and analyzed 48,000 data points along with year-over-year comparisons. It covers crucial benchmarks for websites, including security, site speed, ADA accessibility, Google Analytics, and more.
The report also explains the what, why, and how of the largest social media platforms—Google, Facebook, Yelp, Nextdoor—in an easy-to-read format, giving practices the tools they need to bring their hospital’s A-game to the digital marketing field.

- only 18.2% of hospitals have basic SEO on their website, affecting search engine placement
- 8% of hospitals and clinics are using Facebook Ads, and why it should be higher
- practices have an average of 165 reviews on Google, outpacing all other review sites
- less than half of practices have a claimed Yelp listing, and there’s a reason why
- the average veterinary hospital has 92 reviews on Nextdoor, but it’s likely they don’t know it
